Bea’s Bad Day

-Tom Percival

I often recommend Bea’s Bad Day to parents who want to help their children understand and cope with difficult days and overwhelming emotions. This story explores what happens when frustration, disappointment, and anger build up, and how children can learn to pause, repair, and move forward. This book does a great job at reinforcing the idea that having a bad day doesn’t make a child “bad,” which can be especially important for kids who are sensitive, strong-willed, or prone to emotional outbursts.
